Since most of our camping is off grid we use the gas oven maybe a couple times a month,( most cooking is on the outside grill). To add a microwave, which we just started look into off grid, a small 900 watt unit ~$49; inverter to run it $349, additional solar panels to properly recharge the batteries, best price $94 each two required. Total cost ~$600
