Travis -

That corroded broken tube at 4:03 is a coolant tube, isn't it? If so, I would think that all the working fluid (coolant) has escaped from the system. Is that your impression? If so, you probably need to replace the entire cooling system.

Complete cooling systems are available, both rebuilt and new. I think they go for considerably less cash than a new refrigerator.

On the other hand, if the unit's plastic interior has melted, and the controls and wires are damaged, you may be faced with installing an all-new unit. At least that is a lot less work.
