This is a really nice mod for anyone with the lie-down bolt-down tanks. I remember mine - and scraping the skin off my hands trying to get a wrench on those bolts - after first trying to find the wrench!

Well, I'm just glad to know that they were paying attention.
Next, I'm going to build a fiberglass mold for a 8-12G black water tank to fit under a standard RV toilet. I guess that it will have to be a 2, piece tank. The bottom part (the actual tank) will fasten to the floor with a wax ring around the discharge port. The top will have to bolt to a flange on the top of the bottom tank (with a seal ring). The center top of the tank will have a standard toilet flange.
Anyone have any suggestions? I may even cut out part of the side of the tub mold to increase the size of the black tank. I sued to make fiberglass molds for small boats. This project should be pretty easy.
