I don't have any specific info on that year's model,but if you can scrape together a few more pennies especially if you plan to keep it for a number of years, I'd go for as recent a model year as you can afford. It is not just an issue of the framing, but over the years a number of improvements have been incorporated into the design, materials, and overall quality of a TM. Having said that, you'll enjoy whatever good TM you end up with.
