I saw your pics, and checked my bathroom fan only to find out that it
worked intermittently and was noisy. So, I am installing an 80mm computer
fan in its place. The 80mm fits right between the small posts.
The toilet had been removed, and plywood pieces placed over the flange to
make a base for a portable Thetford 365 for night use.
I will have the new fan in tomorrow, and will review it. I carefully used my
reciprocating saw to remove most of the existing old fan, as that is a very
difficult area with limited space. Barely enough wire to splice a new fan in.
After I have the new fan working, I am considering a new "real" toilet.
Any recommendations? Don't mean to change the subject, as it is related.
