As I noted in my post earlier in this thread, the problem with using a security camera is it's left is your right. Example: you are driving in the right lane, and the security camera views a truck passing you on it's right (looking backwards) which is really on your left. Somewhere in the process you have to be able to reverse the image. Cameras sold as backup cameras seem to do that automatically.
