Nice looking front bike rack setup. Is there a reason the shank is curved up so much? That puts the bikes quite high. My bike rack shank is straight and keeps the bikes as low as possible so as not to interfere with my field of vision.

eddugo's solution to carrying his bikes is nicely done. Just be aware you will have to remove the bikes and rack before you can open your slide. Normally that is not a big deal - unless you are making several one-night stops when traveling to your destination.
