it sorta depends on what year/model TM too. These pics are from my 2004 2720SL after I modified it. The later models copied what I did here. The back of the tank bracket just slips in a slot.
I actually have several clevis pins after replacing my garage door opener. Kept a lot of potentially useful hardware. A couple of them might fit. I’ll order the tank and see how the back end fits in. I suspect it’s similar to your modification.
