Sorry, no big tail of swashbuckling or ingenious financial finagling. I knew a guy who died and his widow had to divest herself of property that was in her husband's name to keep her Medicaid coverage. She's in a wheelchair and didn't have alot of use for it, she needed it gone more than she needed money.
I dip net salmon for her by proxy every year now, and she cans her haul and half of mine. I do odd jobs and home repairs for her as well... it was the gift that keeps on giving. I'll take her son hunting this fall in it as well.
