It is not at a Trailmanor dealer and it is being sold "as is." We have to travel 500 miles to pick it up, is there anything we should do before towing? We have a 2007 Trail Blazer with tow pkg. Used TM's are hard to come by, so we don't mind traveling a bit.
Luckily we have a TM dealer a few miles from our home. Would you recommend that they look it over after purchase?

This question gets asked frequently. I did a "Search" and found this posting and various replies.

There are others, but you'll get the idea. If you do buy the TM, it might be worth $100 to have the nearby dealer check it over. Maybe even another nearby TM owner can show you what to look for.
Pay particular attention to the age and condition of the tires. Check as many of the systems (electrical, plumbing, heat, AC, toilet) as you can -it will take a while so don't be rushed. Look for apparent signs of water leaks on the ceiling and walls. Make sure the lifting mechanism works smoothly. Good luck with your purchase
