One of the features of the P3 is that shortly after coming to a stop with your foot still applied to the brake pedal, the P3 put a 2.5 to 3 volt brake holding voltage to the trailer brakes which is a great asset if you are at stoplights on a hill. It averds from having the trailer weight on your TV brakes.
