The place to start is to ensure that you are leveling your TM properly. Our door was off in the beginning because I was using the stabilizing jacks to level the trailer. That twists the frame out of whack.
level the trailer side to side with leveling blocks under the wheels, then level front to back with the tongue jack. Once that is complete you lower the stabilizers.
This was all that was needed for mine to come into alignment. Try that first before moving on to raising and lowering shells on the lift arms etc.
