Padgett, I was just needling you about your always knocking diesels. I love my diesel, as it pulls much better than our 5.7L V-8 Hemi Grand Cherokee, and gets much better fuel economy, whether towing or not.

You like your setup, and I like mine. You can comment all you want about torque and power ranges for various gas engines, but you don't need to try to take a dig at diesels. As long as I am towing, I will use a diesel.

I have more than paid for the added cost of the diesel engine in fuel savings. I have not had higher maintenance costs in the 96,000 miles I have driven since buying it new in April of 2014. I hear lots of red herrings about diesels, and they may have been true of older engines. You liked yours when you had one, so leave the new diesels out of your comments. My experience with my diesel bears no resemblance to your negative comments, so you may be giving people considering a diesel an unworthy negative impression.
