I bought a sewing machine and some of these " JR Products 81365 Sew-In Slide Tape - Type D, 72" and some pre made 30"x30" blackout curtains. It has not gone well at the start but after my 5th curtain I am starting to get the hang of it. I have broken 4 needles before switching to a leather type needle and stronger thread. No breaks recently so i think its going to turn out well as my skill is improving.
