We live in Colorado and towed our 2001 2619 a few weekends ago up and over Loveland Pass on I-70 with our 2006 Nissan Frontier, 4WD, manual transmission, V6, 4.0 L engine and got 16 MPH going west and 18MPH going east. The combination kept up nicely with most of the trafficand slowed down some at the steepest parts of the trip but was still able to pass many other TV and TT combitanitons. We also kept the speeds around 65 MPH when on the flatter parts of the trip.

The truck is outfitted with a Prodigy controller and a weight distributing hitch and the combination felt quite safe going downhill. A key part of this was keeping the speeds reasonable and downshifting as appropriate.
