I forgot to mention that backing into the pad should be a 90 degree angle, uphill, in mud while it is snowing outside.

btw, I do have my M1 endorsement. I did not have to take the DMV test. I took the safety class instead.
When towing a heavy 5th wheel (over 12,500 gross I think), California requires another endorsement. The number of people that have even heard of it is very small.
