Remember what a prospectus for stocks always says: Past performance is not a guarantee of future earnings. Trouble free experience with tires means that you have not overstressed them in the past. It does not indicate how long that trouble free period will last.

When my current tires, (July 2010), are three years old. I am going to replace them with new ones. BTW, mine are Goodyear Marathons.
