The answer to the lift kit question, and the question "can I upgrade to 15-inch tires without a big hassle?" has been covered a number of times here. You need to Search the Tires forum for posts about the Dexter Axle 3 inch rule. I know they are there - I just don't have a link at the moment. For a 2006 2720SL (which I have), the answer is almost certainly "no problem", and it was not a problem for me.
