Since I haven't used Eternabond, I won't try to give you a complete answer. But one thing must be remembered. New caulk won't stick to old caulk. If you want to re-caulk a seam, it is important to completely remove whatever caulk is in place. This is an annoying job, but not particularly difficult. You can remove most of the old caulk with a putty knife or paint scraper. Then make it squeaky-clean with a solvent (paint thinner is good) and a stiff brush. A rotary nylon brush that you chuck in an electric drill makes it lot simpler.
