If you tighten to 300#, you'd better use crush sleeves inside the square spacer. 300# will likely stretch those bolts. I would be concerned about the bolts snapping. Be sure to use grade 8 bolts if you are torqueing that much.
Double nutting is OK too but I would also use the Red Loctite #271.

Yes 150 FT LB not 300. For my hitch bolts it was 300. Mixed those up.keep in mind that you will have to adjust the hitch as well when you install the lift kit.
