Easiest way is to just plug a lamp or something into one of the 110V household-style outlets. Those outlets only work when connected to AC power. If the lamp lights up, you’re on AC power. If not, you’re likely running on battery power (unless the outlet GFCI or circuit breaker is tripped or something like that)
