I heard that with a 2.5 lift, or on the newer models you don't need to raise the roof. My camper with a 2 inch lift I have to lift the roof to get the fender skirt off. I have tried doing it with out lifting the roof and can not, but could see with 1/2 or 1 inch more lift it would work.
