My biased opinion:
A properly setup one east of the Rockies should not be a problem. I have dragged my 2720 with 40 gallons of water + 200 lbs of generator and fuel + gear all over the east coast. While not running up hills at 80 MPH I was not doing 15 MPH with the semi rigs going though the Smokie Moutains either.
