It is quieter and it runs easily with a Honda 2000 gen-set.

The only drawback is, that it is not placed well. It blows on the bathroom wall instead of toward both ends of the camper (like the roof-mounted A/C does). The cold air immediately circulates back through the A/C unit instead of spreading throughout the camper 1st. A fan helps distribute the clod air toward the end that you are currently using but the other end will be a lot warmer as the air does not circulate well.

In order to keep the compressor from cycling too soon, one must set the temp about 3-4 degrees cooler than the actual room temp desired (setting @ 68 will achieve a ~72 room temp)..
