In my experience, when driving on dirt roads such that a cloud of dust follows the TM, most of the dust that makes its may into the TM is primarily limited to the inside walls of the top shells. The exception is the front wall of the front shell -- that seems to escape the dirt.

10 minutes of wiping it down with a damp rag takes care of it, and then it's on to camping.

I have never found any appreciable dust anywhere else.
