On my 2005 2720SL (with lift kit) I could get my tires off without removing anything. I'm hoping that my 2009 will be the same. At any rate, it should remove the wheel well clearance issue for my holding tank install.
My 1998 2720 with lift kit, I couldn't get the wheels off without opening.
