I installed mine on a 2007. After installation I found I probably did not really need it for the 15 inch tires I changed to.

I did find that the bolts were slightly loose after the first 1,000 miles. I added threadlocker Blue and re-tightened. At 2,000 they were still tight. If I had the ability I would have tack welded them to prevent loosening or movement.

Second, I had to move my hitch up to keep the trailer reasonable level.

I did like the additional clearance on poor driveway approaches and rough campsite roads.
