Bruce,
When you select your TM, you'll need to pay attention to weight. I bought a new TM and limited the options which add weight. There are a number of posts that show user weights to give you an idea. I also pack very lightly vs peers, based on what I've read on this forum. You will need weight distribution bars and limit tongue weight. I keep minimal propane to shed some pounds there. In the end, when weight is managed, towing with 4L T&C with tow package is good.

Now I don't want to give blanket approval, since towing experience can be very individual. For example, most of my towing is in Texas. When I tow to Co or Wy once a year, I research routes and avoid major mountain passes. I don't mountain hop. I reach the eastern or southern edge and camp there. If I did more mountain driving I'd consider another tow vehicle.
