I want to replace the current manual 3 speed non-reversable fan with a model 7350 Fantastic Fan. This fan has 14 speeds, automatic vent opening and a remote. It also uses much less power even at the highest speed. I had it in my last RV. When I called the Dometic help line, they tell me the fan TM uses cannot be upgrade using a 7350 upgrade kit so a whole new vent needs to be installed. My question, is there some limitations with the TM that requires some special install process or fan model. I also want to replace the vent only by the sink with a 7350. Is there an easy way to access the wiring on the current fan to extend it over the where the vent is.
