I weighed my 2005 2720 this summer when it was fully loaded.

I did not weigh the tongue. But I know that the weight on the TM axle was 3380. As I recall the design limit is 3500 on the axle. If my recollection is correct then it means that if I were to add a WD hitch and if I adjusted it to push on the TM axle more than 120 pounds then I would have to remove some cargo.

We put 3100 miles on this first year. I do not have a WD hitch and see no need for one. However, my TV is above average in size. I have never experienced sway or bounce (except when my TV tires were under inflated).
