Best luxury campground we ever stayed in is Holiday Cove in Cortez, just a hop and a skip from Bradenton and Sarasota. Clean clean clean! It is just 3/4 mile from the Anna Maria Island Beaches where, of course, one can walk or hike. Just had to put in a plug for this friendly, nice RV Resort which was our home for 2 months until we bought a condo. Dog lovers might want to know that if you go to Anna Maria Island via the Manatee bridge (instead of the Cortez bridge) there are doggy beaches along that route. Queen
