We spent a couple of days in Grayton State Park just off Hwy 98 between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. This was back in 1984. The beach was great. We pretty well had the park to ourselves over the 4th of July weekend. Also spent a night at Falling Water State Park just south of Interstate 20 and south of the town of Chipley. Best I can remember the camping fee at these parks was $6.00 per night then, but I imagine that's changed. Don't know if this helps. Hope you have a good trip.
