I towed with a 2000 Ranger and had no trouble. I added air bags in the rear to smooth out the ride. It towed better on hills than a lot of other rigs and got decent mileage. I only sold it because we needed a "real" backseat to carry grandkids when camping. In some ways, it towed better than the Expedition I have now.
