That makes me terribly queasy. I'm sure you will place multiple sturdy supports under the tongue in case something goes wrong. Or actually hitch the trailer to the hitch ball on the tow vehicle.

These are designed for cutting wood, or at most, aluminum. Steel may be a different thing.
Would it not be possible to cut a block of 2X4 that can be pushed up under the hole, and clamped in place with a couple big C-clamps outside the hole area? You could mark the center of the hole directly on the wood, and drill downward, using the hole in the wood to guide a single hole saw - no need to buy two blades.
Just thinking - dangerous, I know.
