I know there's a lot to consider when getting your first camper, but let me also share a couple more important items in addition to the wisdom already shared.....

Not all trailer hitches are rated for use with Weight Distribution Hitches. So even if your vehicle is rated for 5000 + pounds towing capacity you need to ensure that your hitch is rated for that weight, the needed tongue weight, and rated for WDH use.

Also, make sure you have a full size spare tire on your tow vehicle as there's no towing a TrailManor (or any other trailer) while your tow vehicle is using a donut style spare tire.
