Well, between the dealer that sold us our vehicle and trying to verify the information ourselves, we missed that our SUV model needed AWD to be able to tow 5,000 lb. It has a tow rating of 3,500 lbs. So, we are looking for another vehicle with the proper towing capacity. I found a site that will give you your car tow capacity. I wanted to share it here in case it is helpful to anyone else.
