Hi,

This is not a repair, it is done at the factory to run wiring to the electrical outlet underneath the sofa. They have always done this since they built TrailManors. I use to work for a TrailManor dealer since 1996. If you have any questions you can call TrailManor and talk to Ed in cuatomer service.
