No the friction of the tire dragging on the pavement, just a data point to check and eliminate. Have seen stranger things happen.

Be interesting to weigh each wheel. I know the lav, water tanks, battery, both sinks, and where I carry the generator are all on the street side.

Agree with rotating tires. If it stays with the tire you may have a belt slipping. If so the next step would be to have it spin balanced and check for wobble or a significant change. Out of balance could increase the temp also.

When guessing it is best to check everything.
