I use the plastic on the walls, but did a modification for the curtain. I took out the overhead track, and used the small command hooks and a pcv tube. I used the smallest wire cable, drilled a hole at the ends thru the pvc and ran the wire thru. Sledged the wire into a loop and hooked them onto the command hooks. I am able to use a standard shower curtain and curtain hooks. I had a friend remove enough from the bottom of the curtain so that it fitted nicely into the tub.
When I hang the plastic to cover the walls, I use those metal clips that slip over the end of the picnic table sides to hold the plastic in place. Works great. In CA it gets hot and I find the Velcro doesn’t stay in place. The clips slip on and off.
You can stain the pvc to look like wood from what I’ve seen on line.
