I'd like to hear some feedback from anyone who has towed a TM with
a Dodge Sprinter van. I usually drive 8k-10k miles each winter in search
of some hot sun. My present tow vehicle is an '02 Toyota Tundra carrying
a motorcycle and the fuel costs are becoming a pain.
The Sprinter's tow rating is 5000lb but it's torque is only 243ft-lb vs. the
Tundra's 315ft-lb. If it had a 3liter instead of the 2.7liter diesel there'd be
no problem. It seems that the Jeep Liberty 2.8liter diesel is a good tow
vehicle but it has 295ft-lb of torque and I still want to take along my MC.
Any ideas?
