Mountain Tripper. Your pictures look great and your solution should be great for many people. I would like to warn people to not solve this need in the same way that I did. I attached a swing arm computer support to the counter over the refrigerator. It seemed like such a great idea. But the countertop if constructed of very lightweight material. (styrofoam sandwhiched between very thin playwood. The plywood is the type that splinters just by looking at it. The weight of the platform and our 14" tv were to great for this material. Even though I had reinforced the underside of the counter with metal brackets, the support arm could not hold all the combined weight in a horizontal position.
