It would be costly, because lithium batteries require higher Charging Voltage than the original WFCO power converter can provide. (New Power Converter = $150-$250 more money than the batteries alone.

And if you need to effectively charge from the Tow Vehicle, you could possibly also need a "DC -> DC battery lithium battery charger" (another $120 or so). If you already have Solar, you could possibly get away without adding the DC->DC battery charger.

Otherwise, the most important limitation of those "Lithium Iron Phosphate" batteries is the fat that they can't be charged in temperatures of 38 Fahrenheit and less. If you frequently camp in cold weather, that's a VERY important limitation.

LPF batteries are also difficult to buy, with many sellers (on Amazon and elsewhere) posting fraudulent information about the actual capacity of their batteries. In one especially notorious example, a fraudulent seller sold a 40-Amp hour battery as a "100 amp-hours battery pack", using cells of less than half the correct size and cost. To make it seem like there were bigger cells within the large battery case, he literally glued in small pieces of stone, so that it had the "proper" weight. It's definitely "buyer beware!" with these things.

The last thing to consider is: with a 2417, I'm guessing that your battery is located outside, on the front A-frame tongue. In addition to the cold weather issue, that location might be attractive to thieves, unless you disguise the battery box to seem like "just a cheap lead acid battery.
