What size tires? I think TM has used 225/75/15 for a bunch of years now, and load range D. 80psi would indicate load range E, which is overkill for that trailer. I’ve never heard of one saying 80psi on the label.

If you have that size tire, I have heard of the axle arm bolt working loose and the arm pivoting on the axle torsion rods, which would cause the tire to rub on the top of the wheel well. But this is usually pretty obvious because the camper is sitting crooked, unless it happened on both sides.
