if you are within specs 5000/500 you may be fine without a wdh,, many people on the forum tow with minivans , highlanders etc that have a 5k or under tow rating without a wdh. I personally towed with a tacoma (#6400) without , then got an anderson 3324 . i switched because the amount of mountaneous areas etc,,what is you current concern or is you tow vehicle rated at 5k with a wdh
