Default hook up

[QUOTE=rickst29;154191]It could be the 'start capacitor' or 'run capacitor', both are replaceable at relatively low cost. Air Conditioners hate low voltage "brownout" conditions, that could have been a factor with a bad-quality connection to the grid (E.g. a "home-built" 30A socket wired with long or small wires).

The first time this happened was in the Upper MI that had a good hook up with my 30 AMP cord I have used for years, so I do not think that was the problem.
