As you recognize, the Outback is a larger heavier trailer than a TM. If you can handle that, it is a nice trailer. You need to be aware, though, the the end bedrooms on an Outback are canvas-walled, and because of that, you will be turned away from many western campgrounds because of the bear problems. Thanks Bill, I think I'm getting more confused. The Outback that I saw (it was 23 ft) had a hard slide out bed. Are you saying that I wouldn't be able to get into some parks with this? I thought that was only the case with Hybrids that had canvas slides?
