we looked seriously at the 2720 but bought the 3124KS because we wanted the extra counter space for our microwave, etc. We also wanted the king bed so we did not have to crawl over each other in the middle of the night. With just 2 of us, we love the "living room." We also removed the original chair and put in a low backed recliner from a furniture store -- much more comfortable.
