I think they are unlikely to do that. Why? It adds weight, and lightweight is what sells trailers, not protective cages around the plumbing. Plus, can you imagine that conversation with the sales rep?
Buyer: What is that piece of metal around the plumbing for?
Sales guy: Oh, that's to protect your plumbing from tire blowouts.
Buyer: Tire blowouts?
