I was thinking the same thing! Besides camping, I travel for business a reasonable amount, and my TM is still better than many of the hotels I've been in (note that even good business class hotels - Mariott, Hyatt, etc - don't always have good mattresses!) The TM isn't perfect, but I guess I'm adaptable.

I'll get to practice the Thermarest thing this next week. We're heading to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness for some primitive canoe camping. I can hardly wait! Bye bye electricity and running water, hello isolation, quiet, and the joy of the wilderness.
