I have an opportunity to get a 2010 Elkmont in what appears to be excellent condition. The price is right and here are the questions.

I currently tow a Palomino Y4124 pop up that weighs 2850 going down the road with about 310lbs. of tongue weight. (I used a truck scale to find out)

1.-Do you think that I can tow this trailer? (The Elkmont)

2.-Will I need a WDH, or a Sway Bar setup to tow this trailer?
The current owner says he does not need them and tows on just the ball.
(he is also using a V8 tow vehicle (Dodge Durango))

3.-The current owner says that the unit as he loads it weighs about the same
2800-3000lbs. (His best guess) Does that weight sound about right?

I tow with a V6, 2013 GMC Terrain and a tow package that is rated at 3500lbs. I also use a sway bar on the pop up
